Teaches students to build and run a freelance or independent consulting practice. Every major has a freelance/consultant employment context, and the business operations are identical across domains: finding clients, pricing work, managing scope, and running the business side. Domain-specific freelance application is covered in each major's Professional Practice course.

Freelance Business Plan — Student creates a complete freelance launch kit for their chosen major: client acquisition strategy (3 channels with rationale and expected timeline to first client), a sample proposal for a realistic engagement, a contract template with annotated terms explaining each clause, a pricing model with 3 engagement types and rate justification, and a 6-month financial projection (income, expenses, taxes, runway calculation).
